August 5, 1998: Today is Michael's final performance in Hedwig. Soon, Michael will join Bob Mould's Last Dog and Pony Show band on their world tour starting in September. July 4, 1998: Today marks Michael's final performance in Titanic. He leaves to join the cast of the off Broadway show Hedwig and the Angry Inch in the role of Hedwig, replacing a vacationing John Cameron Mitchell for four weeks. This day also marks Titanic's 500th performance!!
